I don't get people who are happy all the time. Meltdowns are what make us human, and relateable.

Beth Levinson has asked me to send you a message. Just had Thanksgiving with her and her family in Delray Beach. Would have loved to have seen you but only here until Monday. Paddle boarding today, jogging every day, too many things and only one week to enjoy them. See you, Gloria

What's the point of having a meltdown if you can't blog about it?

Hey I like your blog because it's not pretty all the time, it's just a real reflection of where you are emotionally at any given time. That's life!

we all have the right to have meltdowns every once in a while, even over something that you might think seems petty in retrospect, but it is your blog, and i, for one, enjoy reading because you call it like you see it. it's hard being away from everyone you love, especially around this time of year. for me, thanksgiving is already half over (it's one in the afternoon here in melbourne), and although i'm going to call my parents later, it's still a bit lonely. (and i can certainly understand working on thanksgiving! those of us in the restaurant industry feel your pain...this is the first time in four years i haven't worked thanksgiving!)

happy thanksgiving, rg. i know things are a bit tough for you right now, but i'm sure you'll get through it, as you always do. thank you for your insights over the years -- you inspire me. =)
