…people order something to drink other than water.

…men don’t share one ice tea.

…women don’t split a cup of soup.

…four adults don’t split two entrees and then ask for four separate checks.

    i’ve been drinking water for the past year …. $2.50 for iced tea and 9 for a manhatten?? …. forget it!

    Biztone–Not so much cheap…scared, I guess.

    ellenin–Did you at least generously tip your server for pouring that water and attending to your table?

    Kim–[me walking past your table] “Hey Kim! Why don’t you join those two guys at table 22 who are sharing the ice tea with two straws!” Of course, if you are with your cool family, I guess I could offer everyone their own glasses of water!

    *laugh* …. been a waitress off and on over 40 years …. might have a faint idea of how to tip … but i do expect to receive decent service …. it’s not rocket science
