The peacocks and peahens are awesome; here in SoCal there are many at the L.a. County Arboretum and they roam freely there and in (I think) Rancho Palos Verdes. The men who were afraid probably realized the peacock was much better dressed :)

I just love peacocks. And you know what's funny? I am writing a shortstory and the main love interest female character is named Priya. I think it's a beautiful name for a peahen too. I have never found the peacocks in my neighborhood to be aggressive. Once my cat tried to attack them, apparently not having any sort of size perception capabilities, and they just stood there and looked at her as if she had lost her mind. It was really funny.

there's only up at this stage.
As much as it's irritating to hear, you'll be fine.
You need to feel sorry for yourself, drink yourself into a stupor, then move on - get busy in your life and not busy worrying about him.
Transition guy... that's what he was.

RG, I'm very sorry for your pain. I know how it feels to be sick with grief over a boy too. What almost makes it worse is feeling so badly, but knowing you are helpless to stop feeling that way at your own decision to "get over it". That kind of makes me angry I think, of course at the low times there isn't much energy to be angry, but sometimes a little anger and a kick in the but (even self butt kicking) can help one to get on with it.

You never did mention what happened with the boy. It sounds like things came to a head in some way, rather than just drifted. Maybe someday when you are feeling better, you will tell us the story and we can all call him names and imagine throwing rotten fruit at him or something. :) 'Til then, /hugs!

knowing when you've reached the bottom is at first frightening (that oh.my.god.how.did.i.do.this moment) and then, liberating (it can only get better now). i wish you the best, sugar! ;)
