I found a great apartment today, even better than I expected. And yes, it is as funky and as non-luxurious a place as this Gal could want. I can walk to the beach, or I can just stare at the waterfront. I am in heaven with this.
Work continues to feel okay. In fact, I felt almost happily comfortable tonight.
I know I can’t let my guard down. I know a thousand rugs are waiting to be pulled out from under me. They always are.
But maybe, just maybe this time the rugs will wait to be pulled. Or maybe they will finally stay put.
To quote Acoustic Son, again, almost a year later, “Maybe this time…”
Well, good for you! You seem a bit more “chipper” than before.
Maybe It’s just because I am confused, but I worry about you. I don’t know why, you are obviously able to take care of your self.
But still…
